Sewing is not the only crafty thing I do. For instance, I am an avid friendship bracelet maker, and for some reason I can't stop making envelopes out of everything I can get my hands on. (p.s. I love mail!)

I made this last night. Huzzah!
I’ve had this black headwrap-thing for years. I don’t wear it a lot, but I do like it. I wore it a few days ago, and was reminded of all the things I like and don’t like about it. I like the way it looks. I like the different ways I can wear it. I don’t like that it’s plain black. I don’t like that it slips off.
Looking at it, I decided I’d try to make my own. Usually, when I think, ‘Oh, I could make this!’ it fails. Or it only sorta-kinda works. I grabbed some fabric that wasn’t particularly important to me, but that I thought would look nice as a headwrap, and set to work.
An hour and a half later, I had successfully recreated the headwrap, with only a couple minor flaws. I was confident I could do it again without flaws. That’s what happened last night. I’ve been waiting for a good use for this galaxy fabric, and I found it.
So, since this turned out so well, and it’s so easy to make, anyone want a tutorial?
For those of us who don’t take their fashion too seriously, may I present the best scarf I have seen in ages! Plus super warm - that ‘fur belly’ will keep your neck warm against the cold Winter wind!

I found these shoes at a Savers for $5! I mixed glitter into Mod Podge and painted many coats onto the shoes. Really happy with the results, but they are really only practice. ;)
This hole in my jeans has been really annoying. I put off fixing it for awhile, but today I finally sewed it up. I used embroidery floss, and I used 2 colors to make it interesting. Anyone have any other ideas for patching up holes? There are so many ways to do it. I had lots of other ideas. How’ve you mended your holey clothes?
So, meh. I got this awhile back at a Goodwill Outlet. (Also got this, and this) So it cost about nothing. I just altered it to fit. Sorry I didn’t take a before picture. Should I cut off the sleeves? I’m thinking I should cut off the sleeves…
